FRAUD ALERT: STUDENT E-MAIL PHISHING ATTACK

Students have reported receiving e-mails that contain their contact information and request credit and debit card numbers. These e-mails are attempts to steal confidential information that can be used to make an authorized purchases and steal identities.

Remember that e-mail is not secure and no legitimate company would ask for this confidential information by e-mail. Never give out your password, card numbers or other personal information by e-mail.
