FRAUD ALERT: NCUA REFUND E-MAIL

Some of our members have recently received an e-mail purportedly from the National Credit Union Administration regarding an NCUA refund. The e-mail instructs recipients to click a link and complete an online application in order to receive the refund due to them.

PEFCU does not provide any specific member or account information to NCUA; NCUA does not contact credit union members directly. If you ever receive an e-mail such as this, please contact PEFCU before clicking any suspicious link, or before providing any financial or account information to an unknown source. It is always better to be extra cautious when it comes to your financial security.
