FRAUDULENT E-MAIL SURVEY CIRCULATING

Purdue Employee Federal Credit Union members have reported receiving an e-mailed survey that appears to be from the National Credit Union Association (NCUA).

The e-mail tells members they have been selected to participate in an eight-question survey about how NCUA can improve its services. Participants will receive an $80 credit to their account after they complete the survey, which is accessible through a link provided within the e-mail.

PEFCU does not provide any member specific information to NCUA and NCUA would never contact credit union members directly. Remember you can protect yourself from fraud by never clicking links provided within e-mails, especially if they come from an unknown sender.
