PEFCU CLOSING TEAL ROAD BRANCH, EMPLOYEES RELOCATING

We will be closing our Teal Road location after June 30, 2009.

PEFCU members appealed for another PEFCU branch location on the south side of Lafayette, and we listened by opening our 7th full-service branch opened at the corner of 350 South and 18th Street in September 2008 to provide a more accessible location with increased drive thru capacity and a face-to-face transaction setting. As expected, the volume of transactions at our Teal Road branch has continued to decline since we opened our new 350 South branch. The expiration of our lease in 2009 will allow us to operate more efficiently and provide members with a more personal service experience at our other locations.

We understand this will be an inconvenience for our members who are accustomed to using the Teal Road branch. We have two (2) branches located a short distance from Teal (within 2 miles). We apologize for the hassle, but want them to know they will be better-served at these other locations. A third location, 26 Crossings, is only about 3 miles from Teal.

We want to make this transition smooth and comfortable for our members. Our employees at the Teal Road branch are available to help them find the most convenient location or access point to transact their PEFCU account. Please know that all Teal Road branch employees will be relocated at one of our six other branch locations.

The Teal Road ATM will continue to be available through December 31, 2009 and hopefully longer, depending on lease negotiations.
