Nearly 300 golfers, more than 70 in a morning tournament and 220 in an afternoon scramble, participated in the 4th Annual Brees Dream Foundation Golf Outing presented by PEFCU on Wednesday, June 23, at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette for the multi-event fundraiser benefiting the Purdue Athletes Life Success (PALS) program.

“PALS plays a vital role in our community,” said PEFCU President and CEO Bob Falk. “Although our participants have fun playing golf, the day is ultimately about supporting this camp that fills such a great need our community. We are proud that so many local and non-local people join us every year for this worthwhile fundraiser.”

Golfers from five different states joined Drew Brees on the course. Following golf was a cocktail reception where unique sports memorabilia including autographed Drew Brees cleats were auctioned off with Brees serving as auctioneer.

Brees, a PEFCU member since 1997, has served as PEFCU spokesperson since 2001. The annual golf event supports a special commitment made between the Brees Dream Foundation and PEFCU to provide annual funding to PALS.

The foundation and PEFCU offer special thanks to Jimmy John’s for donating lunch and to Bruno’s Restaurant for donating the cocktail reception food.
