PEFCU Early Rewards

(For kids up to age 12)

PEFCU Early Rewards is designed to teach children the benefits of saving money. The account uses prizes and incentives to make saving fun. Every time a deposit is made, your child can choose from our special treasure chest. Early Rewards also uses punch cards that can be punched once a week with a deposit of $5 or more. After 10 punches are collected, your child can choose from rewards ranging from $5 cash to movie theater tickets. This is especially helpful for children who want to spend rather than save their money.

PEFCU Student Rewards

(For teens ages 13-18)

Our Student Rewards account is designed to help students prepare for financial independence. The account is available for students between ages 13 and 17 who are currently enrolled in junior high or high school. Students may continue the account to age 23 as long as they remain enrolled in an institution of higher education. A parent or legal guardian must be a joint owner of the account until age 18. Available options include savings, a budget checking account with strict guidelines, an ATM card and a special VISA® credit card with a predetermined spending limit. This account features a special safeguard against excessive checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
