STUDENT LOANS

Purdue University recently decided to participate in the Federal Direct Student Loan Program for Stafford and Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) loans. This means that students and their parents will now apply for student loans directly funded by the federal government as opposed to those funded by private lenders such as PEFCU. Individuals who have already chosen PEFCU as a lender for Stafford or PLUS loans, must re-direct their loan application to the Department of Education. More information is available from Purdue's Financial Aid office at www.purdue.edu/DFA/directlending.htm.

While PEFCU can no longer provide student loans through Purdue due to its decision to participate in the Federal Direct Student Loan Program, we remain committed to education. We are currently creating a private student loan alternative that will be available in the very near future. In the meantime, please contact us to discuss additional educational funding options available through our array of financing products including home equities and personal loans. We will work with you to customize a solution that best meets your college funding needs. Contact us today at 800.627.3328 or 765.497.3328 for more information.
