PEFCU2go Mobile Banking

Now available and FREE to you is a new mobile service that allows you to safely manage your PEFCU account when and where it's convenient for you.

If you have a Web-enabled mobile device:

Simply type www.pefcu2go.com into your cell phone or other mobile device browser and login with your PEFCU Online username and password to our secure network to:

  • Check Account Balances
  • Review Account Transactions
  • Transfer Funds
  • View and Pay Bills

To use the full version of PEFCU2go, you must already be enrolled in PEFCU Online banking, and you must have a Web-enabled phone. If your device is not Web-enabled, you may use the text-messaging version of PEFCU2go.

PEFCU2go Tips:

1. People often mistake their phone's Web search line for the place to enter a URL. Typically, you have to use your phone's menu button to navigate to a place to "Go To" or "Enter URL" from a menu option.

2. Log in with your usual PEFCU Online credentials. You will have to answer a challenge question the first time you visit PEFCU2go from your device. To avoid this step in the future, you may select the radio button that your device is "Personal." If the device you are using is a shared device, for security reasons, do not select this option; instead choose "Public."

3. Some characters (+, % and &) that may be used in a password DO NOT work in the mobile channel due to the mobile phone carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.) dropping or changing the characters when they enter the mobile system. To use PEFCU2go, you must change your password, ensuring not to have these specific symbols.

4. When entering your password pay careful attention to enter capital letters and characters exactly as they are when you type them in on a normal keyboard. Often, mobile devices auto-format capital letters and make symbols hard to access. You may want to practice entering your password on your phone in another place (in a text message you delete when you're done practicing, for example) before you enter it into this field. Several phone models completely hide your password as you enter it (for security reasons).

5. If you get your password wrong, you will be allowed to attempt it two more times, then your account will be locked. It will automatically unlock after some time has passed, or you may call the PEFCU Contact Center (765.497.3328) to have us unlock your account for you.

If you only have mobile text-messaging abilities, within moments you can have your account information securely in a text message. Account balances and/or transaction information will be sent to you directly whenever you want it.

To use mobile messaging:

You must set up your PEFCU2go messaging before you can use the service for the first time.

You will need to login to the console to set up your messaging service. To do this, you will use your usual PEFCU Online banking username and password.

Once you are in the text-messaging console, you will need to set a four-digit PIN. This PIN is only for your PEFCU2go text messaging. You will need to remember it to use the service, so be sure you can remember it.

Click here to set up your mobile messaging.

If, at any time, you want to change your options or your PIN for PEFCU2go text messaging, you may come back to this console (by clicking the link above) and log in to change your settings.

When the set-up process is complete, a phone number (866.459.1217) will be displayed (this phone number will also be available on the page: http://www.purdueefcu.com/pefcu2go, if you forget it). It is wise to store this phone number in your contacts on your phone.

To use the service, call 866.459.1217, enter your four-digit PIN, then hang up. The information you chose (while setting up PEFCU2go text messaging) will be immediately sent to your mobile device in the form of text messages.
