American Express Travelers Cheques

• Protect your money and piece of mind while traveling - Travelers Cheques are easily replaced if they're lost or stolen.
• Nationally and internationally accepted as a form of guaranteed funds.
• Cost is 1% per $100 for one-signature checks and 2% per $100 for two-signature checks.

Money Orders

• Accepted nationally and internationally as a form of guaranteed funds.
• You're protected against loss and theft when you send money orders versus cash through the mail.
• PEFCU offers money orders up to $1,000 for just $3 per item.

Foreign Currency Exchange

• Members can buy/purchase currency from any PEFCU branch. Coins cannot be ordered.
• Foreign currency can be sold back at the Northwestern St. branch location only. No coins are accepted.
• All orders/sales have a $5.00 service fee.
• Shipping fees for orders are $15.00 (1-day UPS) or $10.00 (2-day UPS), currency is shipped to a PEFCU branch.
• Most currency arrives in 1-2 business days, but some currency, considered "exotic," may take longer.
• All orders must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. No sales or orders can be executed on Saturdays.

Safety Deposit Boxes

• Assure the safety of your valuable papers and possessions.
• Several sizes available.
• Available at our Union Street, 26 Crossings and Northwestern Avenue branches.

Notary Public

• Notary services are available to certify the signer's signatures and identity.
• Available to all members (three free per day; $1 each thereafter).

Wire Transfers

• When sending a wire the following information is required: bank name, ABA number and city, state and country; and receiver's full name, account number and address. For assistance sending wire transfers please call PEFCU's Contact Center at 765.497.3328 or 800.627.3328.
• Wire form must be received by accounting no later than 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time for international wires and 1 p.m. Eastern Time for domestic wires in order to be sent the same day. PEFCU cannot guarantee the time or date of arrival for a wire once it has left us.
• The cost is $15 for domestic wires and $40 for international wires. Additional fees may be added to international wires by other institutions handling the transfer.
• We are not a receiving institution, so your transfer will go to Members United Corporate FCU. You will need to provide the following information to the originating institution in order to receive a wire in your PEFCU account:
